L Trains:

Midway Airport is served by the Chicago Transit Authority's "L" trains. Passengers can board Orange Line trains at a station in the airport terminal, which runs to downtown Chicago and the Loop (transit time about 25 minutes). This same station doubles as a stop for many CTA-run buses that serve the surrounding areas. Midway is one of the few airports in the United States that have rapid transit train to terminal service.

O’Hare Airport is also served by the Chicago Transit Authority’s “L” trains. Passengers can board Blue Line trains at a station in the airport terminal, which runs between O’Hare and the Forest Park terminal and leaves every fifteen minutes from both stations.

Shuttle Services:

Super Shuttle reservations may be made at the airport (you can book trips at the ticket counter near baggage claim, online at www.supershuttle.com, or by phone: 888-BLUEVAN). A one-way ride from Midway International Airport to Roosevelt University’s Wabash Building is approximately $40, and a one-way ride from O’Hare International Airport to Roosevelt University’s Wabash Building is approximately $54.

You can receive 10% off your roundtrip reservation when you by make and pay online and enter the AAUP Discount Code aaup1 in the “GROUP/DISCOUNT CODE” box on the first page of the website. Discounts are valid on both SuperShuttle and ExecuCar services nationwide, but not on exclusive vans.

Continental Airport Express offers door-to-door service to and from Midway airport and most city and suburban neighborhoods from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Departures are about every 15 minutes. It’s recommended that you call Continental directly at the numbers below for specific departure information. The fare to the city is approximately $19.00. An information counter is located at Lower Level Arrivals door LL3. The pickup location is located outside door LL3, inside lane. Lift-equipped vehicles are available upon request for those passengers with disabilities. Advanced notice is strongly suggested. You can make reservations by calling 312-454-7800 or 800-654-7871.

GO Airport Express allows you to reduce transportation costs by sharing a van. From the company’s website: “A Shared Van is the most economical way to travel to and from Chicago's airports. Often half the cost of a taxi, and always a more professional and pleasant experience, our computer assisted dispatch assures you that those riding with you are traveling to the same part of the city. When traveling with GO Airport Express, you will always receive a safe and efficient route to ensure a pleasant trip. We can take you between O'Hare and Midway Airports and downtown Chicago hotels, businesses and residences, Chicago convention centers, as well as Northwest and Western suburban locations.” You can make reservations online at www.airportexpress.com or by phone: 888.2THEVAN (888.284.3826).
