AAUP Launches Podcast

The AAUP has launched a new podcast, AAUP Presents, which looks at timely issues in higher education. The first three episodes are available now. In the first episode, AAUP president Irene Mulvey discusses the AAUP’s response to the pandemic and takes listeners through some of the AAUP’s efforts in support of academic freedom and the New Deal for Higher Education. Episode 2 discusses the AAUP’s shared governance work; episode 3 features a conversation about the 2020–21 Annual Report on the Economic Status of the Profession and takes a deep dive into the issue of institutional debt.
