What is shared governance, and why is it important? This session will discuss the fundamental principles that should shape governance at every institution of higher education in the US, as articulated in the AAUP's Statement on Government of Colleges and Universities. We will cover tools you can use to assess the conditions of shared governance on your campus and discuss steps you and your colleagues can take to improve those conditions.
