The AAUP-CBC's regular meeting is held in conjunction with the AAUP Annual Conference on the State of Higher Education, which runs June 12 to 16, 2019.
The regular meeting will include a vote on important organizational changes, including a vote on the dissolution of the AAUP-CBC. See a letter from AAUP-CBC chair Paul Davis about the proposed organizational restructuring.
The preliminary schedule for CBC events is as follows:
Wednesday, June 12
8:00 a.m. – 12: 00 p.m. AAUP-CBC Executive Committee Meeting (Committee members only)
2:00 pm. – 4:45 p.m. information session regarding proposed organizational restructuring.
Thursday, June 13
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. AAUP-CBC Orientation for New Delegates
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. AAUP-CBC Delegate Check-In Desk
2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. AAUP-CBC Regular Meeting (separate registration required) (See the Regular Meeting agenda)
6:45 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. AAUP-CBC Dinner with cash bar (ticket required)
(Doors open at 6:30pm; dinner served at 6:45 p.m.)
In order to vote in the AAUP-CBC Regular Meeting, you must complete the appropriate delegate credential form.

Erik Loomis, associate professor of history at the University of Rhode Island, presents “Strikes in America: Past and Present.” Loomis is the author of the recent book A History of America in Ten Strikes.
