March 4 is a nationwide day of action to protect our communities and fight for a better life for all—for opportunity, freedom, safety and affordability.
Families are facing rising costs, while public education, higher ed, healthcare and public services are being cut or hollowed out. Immigration raids are pushing fear into schools, campuses and hospitals—places that should be safe for learning, getting needed care and belonging. Educators, healthcare workers and public employees are being stretched thinner, asked to do more with less, while kids and families pay the price.
We must:
- Put pressure on decision-makers. Demand an end to cuts to public education, higher ed, healthcare, and public services—and stop immigration enforcement actions that push fear into schools, hospitals, and communities.
- Make the stakes visible. Show how these attacks hurt kids, families, educators, patients, and working people—and why opportunity, safety, freedom, and affordability are on the line.
- Mobilize schools and communities. Bring together educators, students, parents, healthcare workers, public employees, and allies for coordinated actions nationwide.
- Drive public visibility and media attention. Use rallies, marches, walk-ins, teach-ins, vigils, and storytelling to make the impacts of the administration’s actions impossible to ignore.
- Lift up real stories. Highlight the voices of people living with rising costs, fear, and cuts to services—and how they’re standing up for their kids and communities.
- Take action where it matters most. Organize in the communities where schools are underfunded, hospitals are understaffed, and families are being pushed to the brink.
