In October, Trent McDonald joined the AAUP staff as a research and organizing specialist in the Department of Research and Public Policy. Formerly an organizer for Rutgers AAUP-AFT, Trent will work with the AAUP’s research and organizing departments to collect and analyze data on AAUP membership and higher education at large, helping to hone the Association’s strategic planning, operations, and mobilization efforts at the national level.
