This marks the first time that faculty at a freestanding medical school have voted to unionize. (11/19)

Supporting Our Students

The AAUP congratulates graduate employees at the University of Illinois for successfully negotiating with the university administration a tentative agreement that includes tuition waivers--a key issue for graduate employees. The AAUP earlier issued a statement of support for the union. (11/17)
