AAUP Actions & Initiatives
Coalition of Contingent Academic Labor. A network of activists involved in contingent faculty issues.
Coalition on the Academic Workforce. An organization formed in 1997 by over a dozen disciplinary and professional associations to disseminates information on contingency and its implications.
Campus Equity Week. A biennial week of action drawing attention to academic contingent work.
Contingent Faculty Fund. A special fund dedicated to supporting work on issues relating to contingent faculty appointments.
Collective Bargaining. Many local AAUP chapters act as the collective bargaining agents for campus faculty, often including non-tenure-track part- or full-time faculty.
