Elected leaders and staff of AAUP state conferences, along with interested national leaders, are invited to a summit to meet each other and share ideas. We will be discussing ideal structural models for state conferences, how state conferences can coordinate activities together, and much more.
Where: Downtown Columbus Renaissance Hotel, 50 North 3rd Street, Columbus, OH, 43215
When: Friday, November 15 at 6:00pm through Saturday, November 16 at 3:00pm (Reservations must be made by Friday, October 25 to obtain the special rate; you might still be able to reserve a room at the hotel after that date, but you likely will have to pay the regular rate, which is considerably higher).
6:00pm-7:00pm: Registration and Reception
7:00pm-9:00pm: Dinner and Roundtable Discussion
9:00am-3:00pm: Various Sessions covering: Structural Models for State Conferences, Communications, Coordinating Actions Nationally, etc.
*The ASC has a set aside funds to assist Conference leaders to travel to Columbus. Please request this assistance only if your Conference cannot afford to sponsor you. Save all original receipts for reimbursement after the event.
