Report addressing collective bargaining as an effective instrument for achieving the basic AAUP objectives of protecting academic freedom, establishing and strengthening institutions of faculty governance, providing fair procedures for resolving grievances, promoting the economic well-being of faculty and other academic professionals, and advancing the interests of higher education.

Introducing the New, Restructured AAUP

As of January 1, 2013, the AAUP has reorganized into three interlocked entities under one umbrella. This change will better align our legal status with our evolving activities, our changing membership, and our ambitious aims for future programs and services.

A Warm Welcome to New Members at Wright State

In October, full-time non-tenure track faculty at Wright State University voted overwhelmingly to have the Wright State chapter of the AAUP represent them in collective bargaining. The chapter has served as the collective bargaining agent for full-time tenure track faculty.
