AAUP Developing Part-time Faculty Policy

Policy recommendations in cases in which part-time faculty are subjected to dismissal or nonreappointment are being formulated by a joint subcommittee composed of members of the Association's Committee A on Academic Freedom and Tenure and its Committee on Contingent Faculty and the Profession. The proposed recommendations will be published for comment in a future issue of Academe.
