AAUP Sponsors New Member Benefit

The Association is sponsoring a new benefit for members: discounts on automobile and homeowner insurance through Liberty Mutual Insurance. Liberty employs some 37,000 people, has $10 billion in revenues, and is ranked 124th on the Fortune 500 list. It has marketed to associations for years; among its clients are the American Psychological Association, the National Wildlife Federation, and alumni groups at the University of New Hampshire and the University of North Carolina. The program will provide AAUP members with direct cost savings and the Association with a royalty for those of its members who choose to participate.
