The Mayflower Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel opened in 1925 and was quickly labeled as Washington, DC's "Second Best Address" by President Harry Truman. It is the Progressive Grand Dame of the Nation's Capital and a 4-diamond luxury hotel. The Mayflower is listed with the National Registry of Historic Places and is just 4 blocks from the White House. It is convenient to Georgetown and the Metro Red Line (Farragut North).

In the lower left-hand area of the page, you will see a group code for the AAUP annual conference. Click on Find and enter the dates of your stay on the next page. Click Continue to confirm your rate. You may then enter any additional preferences and continue to confirm your reservation.
Phone Reservations: Please call 1-800-228-7697. When making your phone reservations please mention the group code: aupaupa. This will ensure you receive the reduced rate for your stay.
Reservations must be received on or before Tuesday, May 15, 1012 by midnight EDT. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Hotel rooms are subject to applicable taxes (currently 10%). The AAUP rate of $234.00 per night will be honored three (3) days before and three (3) days after the conference, depending on availability.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 noon.
Parking: $45 fee for overnight with in/out privileges and $25 fee during the day with no in/out privileges.
