Konheim Travel Grants
Given to chapters engaged in activities advancing the Konheim Award objectives to help the chapters send delegates to the AAUP annual meeting. The Konheim Award Travel Grants, not to exceed three grants of up to $1,000 each is awarded each year to two or three chapters that lack sufficient funds and/or are at distant locations. Preference is given to chapters that previously had been unable to send delegates or have not sent delegates in recent years. Applications should include a description of chapter activities undertaken in the preceding twelve-month period relating to the principles set forth in the criteria for the Konheim Award, as well as information about chapter size, chapter finances, and annual meeting attendance. Hopper Travel Fund
Individuals attending their first annual AAUP meeting are eligible. Chapters and conferences may nominate one of their delegates who will be attending their first annual meeting. The award will be presented at the Assembly of State Conferences meeting on Friday evening, and the recipient should attend the annual meeting on Saturday. The award will provide for up to $125 per day for three days toward cost of lodging and up to $400 toward airfare for the recipient. The deadline is May 1. Download the application (doc).
