    This review of recently concluded and ongoing negotiations is designed to help identify trends, and to report on what has worked (and hasn't) in dealing with the academic bargaining issues of the day.
  • Post September 11: Faculty Rights in Tense Times
    Ruth Flower and Martin Snyder, AAUP National Office Staff
    A survey of recent strains in the right to speak out on campuses, and the AAUP response. (This will be repeated in the afternoon.)

  • Pre-bargaining Outreach
    Representatives from UUP-SUNY and Western Michigan University
    Tried and true - and some new and innovative - techniques for taking the faculty pulse in the run up to negotiations.

    Representatives from California Faculty Association and PSC-CUNY
    Reports from the fronts: campus-based teach-ins as key tools in bargaining campaigns.
